About Some Problems on “Idiom Transfer from Turkish Spoken” In Kyrgyzstan to Turkish Spoken in Turkey with an Example of the “Epic of Manas” Novel

Language and literature studies accelerated between the Turkish dialects with the dissolution of the USSR lead to discussion of important matters for the Study of Turkishness. Up to this date, there are many simultaneous and concurrent researches to have done. Some of them are about transferring literary works from one dialect to another. By text transfers between the dialects, both the translation problems are pointed out and general language features and vocabulary are examined with comparative methods. Among studies on vocabulary, idiom transfer has a vital importance. It is observed that it is topical especially in postgraduate studies. Although there are some studies about this matter, it cannot be said that enough studies have been done for each dialect. In this study, examining a novel translated from Turkish spoken in Kyrgyzstan to Turkish spoken in Turkey the problems in idiom transfer has been pointed out. The common and different utterances in idiom transfer were identified by matching the phrases in the novel; attempts were made to determine the reasons for the emerging problems
