Analysis of Master Theses on Occupational Health and Safety in Turkey

In this study; it is planned in order to determine how the master studies are distributed according to different criteria, by making a descriptive analysis of master theses on Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) published between 1978 and 2017 in Turkey. The universe of the study constitutes master theses that have been made in universities in Turkey, while the sample of study consisting of theses completed until 2017 in higher education board thesis data center on OHS. Our research is a retrospective type, descriptive record scanning study. The theses have been examined by department that they belong to, the university, the institute, the year of being published, type and subject area and research trends have been determined. As a result of the research, total 1169 master theses which are comprised of 1022 postgraduate, 124 doctorates, 23 expertise in medicine were attained. This study is important in terms of that prevent the accumulation of similar works and to guide the human resources more effectively and efficiently
