RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN MOTIVATION KNOWLEDGE SHARING INTENTION AND KNOWLEDGE SHARING BEHAVIORKeywords: ??sel Motivasyon,D??sal Motivasyon,Bilgi Payla??m Niyeti Abstract: Knowledge is one of the most important sources for all organizations. In order to disseminate knowledge within the organization, it must be shared among individuals. The individual has two kinds of knowledge: explicit and tacit. Although the information systems of the organization make it easier to share explicit knowledge, sharing the tacit knowledge of the individual depends on the individual's desire. In this study, conducted on public and private sector employees, the effect of motivation on individual's intention and behavior to share knowledge was examined. According to the results of the study conducted with 624 participants, intrinsic motivation significantly affects both knowledge sharing intention and knowledge sharing behavior. Extrinsic motivation has a significant effect on knowledge-sharing behavior, but not on knowledge-sharing intention. In addition, a significant difference was found between the means of variables in terms of demographic characteristics
