Current Status and Treatment Options in Chylothorax

This review was performed to determine how chylothorax was formed, how it was detected, and the current status of treatment options and outcomes. Chylothorax is seen in the pleural space of chylous fluid. It is a rare condition seen in cats, dogs and mice. Its etiology is different and causes many diseases, but it is usually idiopathic. With the treatments, the disease can be regressed but the prognosis for this disease is not high
