The Effect of Fertilization on the Yield and Quality of Three Different Lettuce Grown in Floating Culture

In this study, the yield and quality parameters of the fertilizer given in three different times of Carmesi variety of red curly lettuce plant grown in stagnant water culture were investigated. Hoagland nutrient solution was used in the study of all plant nutrient elements given one, two and three times were studied on lettuce. The experiment was conducted between 20 February 2018 and 10 April 2018. In the study, the seedlings were grown in a plastic pot with a volume of 200 liters of hard plastic boats in random patch test design with 4 replications and 12 plants per replicate. Statistical analyzes were performed in the SPSS package program (version17). In the results of study; plant rootless length, plant root length, plant width, plant rootless weight, plant root weight, , total leaf number, leaf width and height, plant stem diameter, weight and height, dry weight (leaf, stem, root), plant leaf color analysis, (L, a, b, chroma and hue values), plant core value, chlorophyll amount and plots yield were determined. The plots yield of the Carmesi lettuce variety is 2421,32 gm-2 in application 1. 2530,72 gm-2 in 3. application and 2804,54 gm-2 in 2. application. It is recommended that all plant nutrients necessary for the plant to be grown in the floating culture are given in more than one time
