Moving further towards High-quality nursing care:effects on physician-nurse collaborationDOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.14725/gjnr.v3n4a1306 Keywords: Nursing model, Physician-nurse collaboration Abstract: Objective: To explore the effects of deepened High-quality nursing project on physician-nurse collaboration. Methods: The Scale of Collaboration with Medical Staff and Jefferson Scale of Attitudes toward Physician-Nurse Collaboration were administered to doctors to evaluate their perception and attitudes toward physician-nurse collaboration at the beginning of High-quality nursing project and after 3 years. The differences before and after the project were compared. Results: The scores of perception and attitudes toward physician-nurse collaboration revealed significant differences ( P<0.05 for all). Conclusion: The doctors’ attitudes toward physician-nurse collaboration were strengthened positively due to the deepening of High-quality nursing project, and their perception was enhanced by the new nursing model
