This study aims to describe and analyze environmental problems and their impact on the Jeblah heritage city. It also identifies deficiencies that may appear in the environmental assessment system when assessing the current environmental situation of heritage cities, and provides a proposal for a generic system of environmental assessment for urban heritage cities in general and more specifically for Jeblah heritage city to achieve environmental sustainability.
