Arabization of Language in University Education: The Actual Status and the Urgent NeedKeywords: However, the striking issue in many Arab countries is pursuing a policy totally different from that of other countries around the world. This is clearly noticed as most of the Arab countries impose English language or French as a study requirement in many undergraduate majors particularly applied disciplines. This has created a stereotype among the Arabs that Arabic language had failed to arabize the terminologies in such disciplines. Abstract: The basic educational policy of any country is to cultivate the loyalty of the learners for their nation as one of the most vital pillar of the country. Language is considered to be the most important pillar. Consequently, countries make it compulsory for foreign students to learn the language of the country even if that language is not widely used in some educational specializations.
