Playing and Creativity as Pedagogical Strategies to Face the New Challenges of Education in ColombiaKeywords: Playing, Creativity, Post-Conflict, Pedagogical Strategies Abstract: This paper will further discuss the need to incorporate creativity in university teaching practices based on playing as a didactic strategy. The above, by considering the challenges that when facing the post-conflict, higher education in Colombia is dealing with as mediated by the new technologies and the advances that the stimulation of creativity implies in the students of today. In this respect, this paper first details the impact the armed conflict has had in Colombian education and, later, elaborates on the relevance of bringing different teaching strategies associated with playing to help develop creativity and improve the teaching practices in higher education in Colombia.
