The Chinese Translation of Natsume Soseki’s “Heart” from the Perspective of “Principle of Three Transformations”—Focusing on Du Qin’s Translation
It is not uncommon to use translation theory to guide translation behavior. With the help of various translation theories, translation behavior can be smoothly carried out among countries. This paper takes the methodological principle in the translation theory of “Beautification is the art and creation resembles the rivalry” advocated by Xu Yuanchong, that is, the “Principle of Three Transformations” as the research perspective, and takes Duqin’s translation of Natsume Soseki’s “Heart” as the main research text, to analyze and explain the “Principle of Three Transformations” from the sentence examples in the text, and explore their role in literary translation, hoping to provide different perspectives on translation for translators.
