分析了发电机断路器(GCB)在大容量机组上使用的优缺点.装设GCB虽然初期投资大,但简化了厂用电切换操作程序,提高了发电机及主变、高压厂用变压器的保护水平,简化同期操作,便于检修、调试,缩短故障恢复时间,提高了机组可用率.;The paper analyses the advantages and disadvantages of the Generator Circuit Breaker used in great capacity unit.In spite of the high investment on installing GCB at the initial stage,the transfer operation program for plant power will be simpler,the protection for the generator,the main transformer and the unit service transformer will be improved,and the automatic synchronizing system operation will be easier.It's more flexible for examining,overhauling and debugging.The plant's recovering time will be shortened in case of fault.The usage of unit plant will be increased
