Malondialdehyde, the marker of lipid peroxidation is increased among diabetic. Haptoglobin, the polymorphic protein has strong association with Diabetes. The Present study did not show any significant association between the Haptoglobin Polymorphisms and Lipid peroxidation marker in diabetic patients.
