Minpolyphaga inexpectata, a new genus and species of Polyphagini (Blattodea: Corydiidae: Corydiinae) from southeast China

A new genus and species, Minpolyphaga inexpectata gen. & sp. nov. is described based on material collected from Zhangzhou City, Fujian Province, southeast China. Minpolyphaga inexpectata gen. & sp. nov. exhibits uniform colouration in the male, and a small-sized body in both sexes (13.7？15.8 mm in males, 12.8？13.5 mm in females), making it the smallest species of Polyphagini found in China
