Comparison of depression between university athletes and non-athletes

The purpose of this study was to compare the rate of depression among university athletes and non-athletes. Four hundred of Tabriz Islamic Azad university female and male students (18-32) were randomly chosen. Beck depression test (BDI) was used to evaluate the rate of depression. Data were analyzed by independent T test. By analyzing the proposed hypotheses at the P≤0.05 demonstrated significant difference between female and male athlete and non-athlete students in depression
