Evaluation of antioxidant activity of ethyl acetate extract of Samanea saman (Jacq.)Merr by cyclic voltammetry

The electrochemical behavior of ethyl acetate extract of Samanea saman (Jacq.)Merr were studied by cyclic voltammetry using a three electrode system. The extracts were investigated for presence of phytochemical constituents and antioxidant activity assessed from its oxidation potential values at glassy carbon electrode. A reproducibility of oxidation potential, height of peaks and calibration slops were obtained
