Evaluation of Integrated Management of Common Bacterial Blight of Common Bean in Central Rift Valley of Ethiopia

Common bacterial blight is the most destructive bean diseases resulting in seed yield and quality losses worldwide. Recommended control measures include varietal resistance, production and use of ‘‘clean’’ seed, antibiotic seed treatments, foliar spray with copper hydroxide and intercropping. However, none of the above mentioned management methods is satisfactory when applied alone. Therefore the current study aim to evaluate integrated disease management through seed treatment, intercropping and Bacticide (Copper hydroxide 77% WP) spray. Streptomycin at the rate of 50,000 ppm and garlic and moringa extracts of 10-1 dilution were used for seed dressin
