Curcuma samples collected from Sarguja district showed highest antioxidant potential in most of the in-vitro assay. All the values compared by standard curcumin and showed significant variation in region wise. It can be conclude from the result that irrespective of the origin or variety, Curcuma is a good natural reservoir of energy whose nutritive components can be used as a food supplement.
