Regional Aspects of Unemployment in Croatia

Sa？etak This paper analyzes regional labor market differences in Croatia. The unemployment rates are identified for five Croatian regions, which are formed according to the NUTS II introduction proposal. Differences between regional and national unemployment dynamics are investigated by applying seemingly unrelated regression methods. The results indicate that Croatian regions can be divided into three groups, with Central Croatia having the strongest correlation with developments at the national level
