诉讼效率是民事诉讼的基本价值目标，诉讼效率低下会直接影响当事人权利的行使和保障，动摇人们对司法制度作为纠纷解决功能的信任。我国司法实践中诉讼效率低下现象比较突出。鉴于此，我国曾通过增加法官人数、提高法官素质以及完善民事诉讼程序的方式来提高民事诉讼效率，虽取得了一定的效果，但暴露出的一些问题却无法解决。随着互联网信息技术飞速发展，为提高民事诉讼效率带来了前所未有的机遇，运用互联网信息技术成为提升民事诉讼效率的重要方式。本文根据立案、在线调解、举证与质证、庭审四个环节目前的现状及问题，提出切实可行的提升我国民事诉讼效率的互联网路径。
