Sa？etak Memoria sopra l’isola di Corzola, a report that the natural historian and travel writer Alberto Fortis delivered at a meeting of the Accademia di Scienze Lettere e Arti in Padua on December 12, 1782, which was published by Professor ？arko Mulja？i？, details Fortis’ stay on the island of Kor？ula. The reason for this stay was the theories of Neapolitan scholar Ciro Minervini on the allegorical meaning of Homer’s epics and the volcanic origin of Kor？ula.
