CICHORIUM ENDIVIA- SOME TYPES AND VARIETIES

Sa？etak On the trial plots of the Institute for Horticulture of the Agricultural Faculty in Zagreb, were examined some varieties of endive (Cichorium endivia L.). Results have shown that the described varieties can be taken into consideration for the autumn-winter cultivation in the northwestern areas of Yugoslavia because - if raised under other conditions and times of growing they commence to fructify mainly before forming the rosette. The acclimated varieties ？Eskariol Green“, ？Bubikopf Eskariol Green“, ？Eskariol Yellow“ and ？Kopica“, proved suitable for our climatic conditions
