The Annales Ferdinandei of Franz Christoph of Khevenhüller and Elias Wideman

Sa？etak The paper presents 200 newly discovered engravings for the Annales Ferdinandei by Franz Christoph of Khevenhüller from the year 1640. Many of them were made by the Augsburgian engraver Wolfgang Kilian and his company. One of the most productive cooperators of Kilian was Elias Wideman, who from 1646–1652 produced his own portrait books. It can also be proved that Khevenhüller used as models for his portraits the most recent original paintings of the imperial family and the aristocrats
