Abstract:

Sa?etak Mesoporous C@FexSy composite as a negative electrode for supercapacitors was synthesized via a one-step hydrothermal treatment followed by an electrodeposition process and its electrochemical properties were studied. Compared with bare carbon sphere, the electrochemical performance of C@FexSy composite was significantly improved, with a high specific capacitance (267.45 F/g), good rate performance (201.08 F/g at 2.5 A/g), and superior cycling stability (almost no capacitance degradation after 1000 cycles). The results show that the obtained C@FexSy composite is a promising negative electrode material for supercapacitor
