Pleomorphic liposarcomaKeywords: pleomorphic liposarcoma, surgical extirpation, radiotherapy, chemotherapy Abstract: Sa?etak Pleomorphic liposarcoma is the rarest and the most aggressive type of liposarcoma which most commonly arises in proximal extremities. It is rare in general population, with a higher incidence in older age. We present a case of a 65-year-old patient with a tumor-related change localized in the medial proximal area of the left femur. After extirpation, the tumor was treated with radiotherapy and subsequently due to recurrence chemotherapy was initiated. Therapeutic options are adapted to each patient individually and most frequently involve surgical extirpation and radiotherapy, while in certain cases chemotherapy is needed as well
