Aesthetic Representation of Subtitle Translation in American Movies from the Perspective of Translation Aesthetics

Recently, American movies have been favored by more and more people in China. This paper takes the subtitle translation of the American film “Gifted” as an example from the perspective of translation aesthetics, and discusses the aesthetic representation of subtitle translation by adopting the ABC principle of translation aesthetics, in the hope of providing reference for the same type of translation and promoting the better dissemination of American films in China.
