多义词的理解和运用是许多学生在翻译实践时的难点问题。本文以认知语言学的隐喻理论为视角,以海事英语中的多义词“dead”为例,分析多义词翻译教学策略,期冀为教师的多义词翻译教学提供借鉴。
The understanding and application of polysemous words are a difficult problem for many students to solve in translation. From the perspective of metaphor theory in cognitive linguistics, this paper takes polysemous word “dead” in Maritime English as an example, analyzes the translation teaching strategies of the polysemy, hoping to improve the teaching effect of polysemous words in translation practice.
