英汉语言对比视角下中国抗疫白皮书翻译质量考察
A Study on the Translation Quality of China’s White Paper about Fighting COVID-19 from the Perspective of CES

研究以中国抗疫白皮书为分析语料，从英汉语言对比的视角出发，立足于英汉思维模式差异的四个维度，即客体思维与主体思维、直线思维与螺旋思维、分析思维与综合思维以及抽象思维与具象思维，深入考察白皮书原文与译文在主语、语态、状语、信息重心、范畴词、四字格、词性以及比喻修辞多个层面的语言表征，全面深入地考察白皮书英语译文的翻译质量，发现白皮书译文在主语、状语以及信息重心处理层面未充分考虑英汉思维模式差异，后续相关翻译需进一步完善，从而更好地服务于中国智慧、中国方案的对外输出。
From the perspective of contrast between English and Chinese, the analysis related with thinking models was made on the translation of China’s white paper about fighting COVID-19 in four aspects: subjective thinking and objective thinking, circular thinking and linear thinking, analysis thinking and synthesis thinking, abstract thinking and concrete thinking. The quality of the translation for the white paper was studied through the comparative analysis about the original and translated texts in some aspects, including subject, voice, adverbial modifier, category words, part of speech and etc. It is found that the difference between English and Chinese thinking models were not notable in the translation of subjects, adverbial modifier and information center, and the future translation version could be better by considering these factors to promote the communication of Chinese wit and wisdom.
