二语与三语心理词库联结模式对比研究

Abstract:

本研究通过词汇联想测试对比英语为二语和三语时,二语者和三语者词汇联想反应结果,以探讨二语和三语心理词库联结模式的异同。结果发现,二语和三语者的心理词库中均呈现非语义反应比例高,但三语者的语义反应比二语者的语义反应更丰富。二语者和三语者对高频词的反应均为语义反应为主,对低频词的反应均以语音反应为主。横组合,纵聚合反应呈先出均衡的发展态势。
In this study, the word association test was used to compare word association responses of second and third language learners when English is second and third language respectively to investigate the differences and similarities between the associative pattern of L2 and L3 mental lexicon. It was found that both L2 and L3 learners showed a higher proportion of non-semantic responses, but the semantic responses of L3 were more abundant than those of L2 learners. The responses of L2 and L3 learners to high-frequency words are mainly semantic responses, while the responses to low-frequency words are mainly non-semantic responses. Syntactic and paradigmatic relations showed a balanced development.
