Assessing the Diffusion of Drones in Local Television News

Emerging technologies are changing how local television (TV) stations gather and disseminate news. One increasingly used technology is drone journalism. The present study sought to determine the extent to which local TV stations across the United States were adopting this technology as part of their news operations.
