Diagnosis and management of peripheral lung nodule

Solitary pulmonary nodule (SPN) is defined as a single well circumscribed radiographic opacity, up to 30 mm in diameter, surrounded by unaltered aerated lung with no associated atelectasis, hilar enlargement or pleural effusion (1,2).
