Rare cancer of oesophagus; LeiomyosarcomaAbstract: Leiomyosarcomas of the oesophagus are rare, malignant, smooth-muscle tumors. The incidence is <1% of all oesophageal cancers. Progressive dysphagia for long period of time is the predominant symptom in this type of tumour. Current diagnosis tool is EUS-FNA (endoscopic ultrasonnd guided fine needle aspiration). Diagnosis confirm by immuno-histology study. The current treatment of choice is radical oesophagectomy. The role of adjuvant radiotherapy and chemotherapy is controversial. Prognosis is relatively better than squamous cell carcinoma of oesophagus if completely resected by surgery
