“去滓再煎”可以减免“柴胡劫肝阴”
Redecocting with dregs removed relieves the decrease of liver’s yin essence by bupleurum

本文针对明代名医张鹤腾提出的“柴胡劫肝阴”的观点，从柴胡的性味、功效及临床应用等方面加 以探讨，并结合笔者对《本草纲目》中柴胡的理解及《伤寒论》中的特殊煎法“去滓再煎”的联系，认为“去滓 再煎”可以减免“柴胡劫肝阴”，临床上在审证求因后可大胆使用柴胡。
Zhang Heteng, a famous doctor in Ming dynasty, believed that the bupleurum could harm the liver’s yin essence. We investigated the nature, efficacy and clinical application of the bupleurum. Based on our understanding of the bupleurum recorded in Compendium of Materia Medica and of a special decoction method named “redecocting with dregs removed” recorded in Treatise on Febrile Diseases, we hold that the decoction method could relieve the bupleuruminduced decrease of the liver’s yin essence. If the conclusion gets confirmed clinically, the bupleurum would be used boldly in the clinical setting
