ErratumDOI: https://doi.org/10.1002/ecs2.2559 Abstract: In the paper by Daniel Imbert (“Hurricane disturbance and forest dynamics in east Caribbean mangroves”; Ecosphere 9(7):e02231), several errors occurred in the preparation of the paper for publication, requiring the following corrections. The image of Fig. 1 contains an incorrect label for one of the hurricane paths depicted in the figure. The corrected figure appears below: In Materials and methods: Hurricanes, the paragraph on page 5 beginning “Hurricane Dean upgraded to Category 2 storm…” should instead read: Hurricane Dean upgraded to Category 2 storm as it passed about 25 km south of site 1 on 17 August 2007. The eye was about 22 km wide, moving W/NW at 35 km/h. According to the available data (Franklin 2008; Meteo France, Ressources et outils con?us pour l'enseignement, available online, http://education.meteofrance.fr/dossiers-thematiques/le-fonctionnement-de-l-atmosphere/un-phenomene-extreme-les-cyclones/dean-un-cyclone-de-l-hemisphere-nord#), site 1 probably experienced a minimum barometric pressure of 971 hP at sea level, whereas maximum sustained winds reached about 160 km/h, with gusts up to 209 km/h and rainfall totalling about 260 mm. A 3.6‐m storm surge occurred at the entrance of the Bay of Fort‐de‐France. Two citations in the list of Literature Cited were incorrect: The Anonymous (2007) citation should not appear in the list. The Franklin (2008) citation should read: Franklin, J. L. 2008. Tropical cyclone report: Hurricane Dean. http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/data/tcr/AL042007_Dean.pdf The editorial staff of Ecosphere regret the errors
