Introduction: Bacterial resistance to antibiotics is one of the most challenging global health threats. Urinary tract infections (UTIs) are a common infection. Regional surveillance programs are necessary to update knowledge on antimicrobial resistance pattern where empirical antibiotic treatment is the mainstay.
