Patient-reported outcomes in neuro-oncology: novel data for neurosurgery and drug therapeutics

Neurosurgical oncology as an independent discipline in surgery and neurosurgery is well established and one of the fundamental cogs in the optimal care of brain tumor patients. It is heartening to see various patient-reported outcome (PRO) parameters being incorporated as essential or sometimes even the sole endpoints for evaluating novel neurosurgical interventions.
