In this age of mobile computing and sophisticated social media applications, email is an older but still very practical application, as it is accessible to all regardless of operating system or electronic device preference. From the earliest days of email, systems were developed that automatically broadcast messages to a specified list of participants to facilitate discussion, the “email listserv”.
