Patient-centered care in neuro-oncologyDOI: 10.1093/nop/npy005 Abstract: As Neuro-Oncology Practice (NOP) enters its fifth year we have seen increased year-on-year usage of the journal and its content. Critically, and consistent with our mission and partnerships with SNO and EANO, this has included increased global contributions, access, and utilization of the journal. Efforts to strengthen the quality and reach of the journal have been completed or are underway as we prepare NOP for PubMed review and Medline listing. For example, Oxford University Press (OUP) has begun publishing Altmetric Scores for every article reflecting the amount of online attention an article has received. We are optimistic that the collective efforts of the SNO/EANO leadership, NOP editorial board, NOP contributors, and OUP have prepared the journal for a favorable review. A good sign is that the journal has been recently included in Clarivate’s Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI), beginning with 2017 content. The fact that NOP citations will be indexed in Web of Science will further increase the discoverability and usage of articles, in addition to the existing Scopus and Google indexing
