Osseous Metaplasia in Rectal Polyp: A Case Report with Review of Probable Pathogenesis

Heterotopic bone formation is a rare event in gastrointestinal lesions, especially in the pediatric population. Osseous metaplasia is exceedingly rare in colonic polyps.
