Overall, 87% of respondents agreed that it was acceptable to hunt for food. However, only 37% agreed that it was acceptable to hunt for a trophy. Those who knew hunters, participated in hunting-related activities, or visited fairs or livestock operations had more favorable opinions on hunting or hunters
