Identification of subnetworks with significant difference in mutation frequency in two set of samples C , D . The blue subnetwork is significantly more mutated in D than in C , but it is not detected by methods that look for the most significantly mutated subnetworks in C or in D or in C ∪ D , since the orange subnetwork is in each case mutated at much higher frequenc
