A Bulgarian Journalist at the Commercial and Industrial Exhibition in Bursa in 1909

In 1909 the Second Industrial and Agricultural Exhibition was organized in the city of Bursa in Asia Minor. Representatives of the Bulgarian Ministry of Commerce and Agriculture as well as representatives of the Sofia Chamber of Commerce and Industry showed an interest in the initiative and visited the exhibition. Details about the visit are found in the report of the Deputy Chairman of the Chamber and from a series of articles in “Вечерна поща” (The Evening Post) entitled “A Glimpse of Anadola” written by Peter Daskalov. The Bulgarian journalist is not impressed with the organization and the scope of the exhibition and devotes more time to the cultural and historical heritage of the old Ottoman capital emitting spiritual energy. His attention does not leave out the status of Bulgarian emigrants whom he often meets in the city
