Abstract:

Septoplasty with or without endoscopic sinus surgery (ESS) for chronic sinusitus are routine procedures done for upper airway obstruction. Obesity remains a risk factor for anaesthesia. Clinical indices in predicting difficult airways are helpful and supraglottic airway devices (SGAs) useful as rescue in the event of a difficult or failed intubation.
