This study was planned to investigate the relationship between childhood trauma and feelings of guilt-shame and self-esteem in Karabuk University students. The research was carried out with 400 students in Karabuk University. The data were obtained by means of the Childhood Trauma Scale, Childhood Guilt and Shame Feelings scale, Coopersmith Self-Esteem Scale and the scores were analyzed by using the statistical package program. As the self-esteem scale score increased, the child trauma scale and childhood delinquency scale subscales decreased. On the other hand, it was observed that there was a statistically significant and positive relationship between all childhood trauma scale sub-dimensions and childhood guilt and shame feelings scale (p <.001).
