经过长期的临床实践，中医已逐步发展为一个完整的医疗体系，因其对疾病的预防和治疗效果显著，兼之毒副作用小，在应对当代严重的健康挑战中具有独特的优势，世界范围内对中医药的关注和需求日益增长，中医药的国际化是必然的趋势，因此中医文本的翻译在其传播与发展中至关重要。但因中医内容晦涩难懂，极易造成译者理解和翻译上的困难。本文作者以阐释学翻译理论为指导，通过具体例证探讨乔治斯坦纳的翻译四步骤在中医骨伤术语英译实践中的具体应用，为中医翻译问题提供更多的参考。
After long-term clinical practice, TCM has gradually developed into a complete medical system, because of its remarkable prevention and treatment effect on diseases, and its little side effects, it has unique advantages in dealing with the serious health challenges of the contemporary era, and the concern and demand for TCM are growing worldwide, the internationalization of TCM is an inevitable trend, so the translation of TCM texts proves to be of vital importance in its communication and development. However, the content of TCM is obscure and difficult to understand, which can easily cause difficulties for translators in comprehension and translation. Guided by hermeneutic translation theory, this thesis focuses on George Steiner’s fourfold hermeneutic translation motion in the translation of TCM bone injury terminology according to specific examples, providing more academic references for TCM translation.
