清中期秦巴山区玉米种植及其影响
Corn Growth and Its Influence in QinBa Mountainous Areas during Mid Qing Dynasty

清中期，玉米作为一种新粮食作物，在秦巴山区的引进和广泛种植，很大程度上改变了当地原有的生产与生活模式。玉米以其环境适应性强、产量高、用途广等优点，吸引了更多外来移民来此垦种，使秦巴山区民众的生活状况得到了较大改观，促进了这一地区的开发，打破了这一地区的封闭状态。但因人口过度增长所产生的粮食压力，又使秦巴山区遭到破坏性开垦，造成了严重的生态环境问题。
As a new kind of grain crop ,the introduction and extensive growth of corn in Qinba mountainous areas in mid-Qing dynasty,has largely changed the local original mode of production and lifestyle. With the advantages of high adaptability to the environment,high yield and wide use,more and more immigrants were attracted to plant corn,which made local people’s livelihood obviously improve,promoted the development of this area and broke the closed state of this area. But the great pressure of grain caused by excessive population growth has led to both the destruction of Qinba Mountain reclamation and the serious ecological problems.
