Abstract:

英语已然成为名副其实的国际化语言,在其国际化进程 中,各种英语语言变体也随之产生。英语的国际化进程实则也 是其在各个民族和区域的本土化过程。我国英语教育须从跨 文化角度审视当前现状,根据英语的国际化进程而调整、变革 英语教育教学:以英语教学的本土化来应对英语的普及与国 际化;立足英语的国际性本质,树立跨文化交际目标;整合兼 顾国际与本土元素的英语语言教学素材,创生出本土特色鲜 明的国际英语教学理论,最终构建完成体系完备、操作性强的 具有本土特色的国际化英语教学策略;避免传统英语教学所 导致的中国文化失语现象,实现国际英语本土化教学过程中的 民族文化的自觉、自信和自强。
English has become a real international language. In the process of its internationalization, all kinds of English languages for different nations and areas come out. So we can say that its internationalization, in some way, equals to its localization. From the cross-cultural perspective, it is necessary to analyze, adjust, and change the current situation of English teaching in China according to the internationalization of English. The final purpose is to construct a practical and complete system of teaching strategy. In order to work out that, what we should do is to be based on the English nature of internationalization, establish the intercultural communicative goals, integrate international and local elements of the teaching materials, and create a teaching theory for international English with a distinctive local characteristics, so that we can avoid the Chinese culture aphasia, and fulfill the consciousness, self-confidence, and self-reliance of national culture in the process of localization teaching in international English.
