Culture is closely relevant to higher education, which bears an important cultural mission. Higher education in China has been played a critical role in the formation and development of Chinese culture. China is currently in a new phase of cultural prosperity. Building a country with a strong socialist culture and increasing the soft power of its national culture has become the primary goals for the development of Chinese culture. The cultural mission of higher education in contemporary China is to vigorously build and promote a socialist culture with Chinese characteristics through talent development, knowledge innovation, social services, and cultural exchanges.
