Social Mentality: Mental Premise of University’s Moral Education

立德树人是教育的根本任务，也是高等教育的宗旨所 在。当前我国正处于经济社会发展转型期，在复杂的社会现实 影响下，部分大学生出现信仰模糊、价值观迷茫、群体浮躁等 社会心态。大学生的社会心态是其思想道德发展的准备状态， 关系到大学立德树人的实效。大学要重视并培育大学生积极向 上的社会心态，采取引导大学生社会认知、疏导消极情绪、净 化大学网络环境、重塑大学人文精神等举措，引导大学生形成 优良的生活美德、职业道德、社会公德和政治品德。
Cultivating morality is the basic task of education, as well as the purpose of higher education. Our country is now in transitional period in which economic and social structure have undergone great changes, therefore, under the influence of the intricate social reality, some social mentality such as vague beliefs, confused values and blundering group psychology occurs in the lives of some undergraduates. The social mentality of undergraduates is the readiness of their ideological and moral qualities’ development, related to the actual effect of moral education in the university. Universities should attach great importance to positive social mentality, and guide undergraduates to form good life virtues, professional ethics, social morality and political character.
