Abstract:

池田大作以佛学的生命观为思维基点,把握当代世界的 文明状况,指出现代世界的核心问题仍然是“人这个主题”,并 将这一立场贯彻到其高等教育理念中,形成了脉络清晰的高等 教育思想架构。他认为,高等教育的根本目的,是打开人的自 我完成道路的人的教育;高等教育的实现目标,是创造价值, 争取全人类的和平幸福;高等教育的历史使命,一是教育,二 是研究;高等教育的教学原则,是使“人学”成为各门学问综合 化的原点;高等教育的改革设计是在人和环境的相互作用中开 拓创造价值的路径。池田大作的高等教育思想架构,体现了其 “以人为本、对人的心灵教育的高度关注”,对当前高等教育 改革与发展仍具有学习与借鉴意义。
Based on a Buddhist outlook on life, Daisaku Ikeda probes into the world civilization and points out that the core problem of the contemporary world is still “the motif of mankind.” He applies this stance to his intellectual construct of higher education. First, the fundamental objective of higher education is human education that may open up the road of self-actualization. Second, the goal of higher education is to create value, and to achieve peace and happiness of mankind. Third, the historical missions of higher education are instruction and research. Fourth, the educational principle of higher education is to render “human study” as the starting point of integrating various branches of learning. Fifth, the innovative design of higher education consists in exploring pathways of value creation via interaction between human and environment. These ideas reflect that Daisaku Ikeda puts people first and focuses on soul education, which provides a reference for current higher education reform and development
