Aim: To investigate the value of fluid bridge test combined with leak point pressure（LPP） for assessment of female stress urinary incontinence（SUI） and urethral disfunction. Methods: A total of 50 SUI female patients and 35 normal women as the control were subjected to perform urodynamic examination and the fluid bridge test. Then, LPP of urodynamic examination and the ΔP between bladder and urethra in the fluid bridge test were recorded. Results: The sensitivity and specificity of fluid bridge test for diagnosing SUI was 0.88 and 0.94. The sensitivity and specificity of fluid bridge test combined with LPP was 0.94 and 0.97. Besides, ΔP of 11 cases of typeⅠ, 12 cases of type Ⅱ,9 cases of type Ⅱ/Ⅲ, and 12 cases of type Ⅲ increased gradually(P<0.05). Conclusion: The fluid bridge test combined with LPP can be a useful urodynamic examination method to diagnosing SUI in women and to predict the urethral disfunction
